Girls Basketball Earns District Championship

The girls basketball team won the district championship March 5 at Liberty High School against Park Hill South. They now advance to the Class 6 state quarterfinals vs. Rock Bridge High School March 8 at 7 p.m. at home.

Miller made the shot, but said free throws aren’t her strongest suit in the game. “I think of coach Abbott,” Miller said. “He works with me a lot on it, so I think of him and his pointers when I shoot.”
