Flag football is growing rapidly among high schools and young athletes with the number of participants increasing yearly and the level of competition becoming highly organized and tough. While initially viewed as an activity for recreation, it is gaining more prominence as institutions continue to spend money on team formation and training. Due to the dynamic nature of flag football and increasing popularity, many believe that it is becoming another avenue for student-athletes in terms of participating at both local and international levels. The future seems bright for flag football.
