Adair Medals In Cross Country Invitational

Tim Nixon Invitational Held At Liberty North High School

Cross country athletes ran at The Tim Nixon Invitational at Liberty North High School today. Girls took 12th as a team, and boys took 13th as a team. Junior Avery Adair earned a medal at 18th place.

Runners Soaring To State
Running the 4x8, sophomore Alex Hamre gets ready to hand the baton off as she runs her last lap where on March 20. Hamre trained hard and ran in every varsity meet in order to reach her goal of breaking the 3200-meter record. “I would do around two hard workouts a week to help me train for it, and I had coach Adair help me by yelling out my splits each 400 to tell me whether I was on pace or not,” said Hamre.
