Students from teacher Anna Maki-Birchler’s College Spanish IV and V classes headed to the Nelson-Atkins Museum Monday, Nov. 3, and participated in a Spanish scavenger hunt on the Plaza.
Students from teacher Anna Maki-Birchler’s College Spanish classes took a trip to experience the Spanish culture in Kansas City Oct. 29. They began with a visit to the Mattie Rhodes Cultural Center for Dia de los Muertos “Day of the Dead” art exhibit. Then, they decorated a sugar Calavera. They toured art murals and ate lunch on Southwest Boulevard.
