Makanani Grace, Staff

She is a sopohomore on the Talon Magazine Staff. This is her second year in journalism and her first year on the Magazine staff. She is also in StuCo as well as Women’s choir and Choral within the choir program. She likes being a part of something that gets to put out interesting and professional looking publications. She hopes to go to state with the magazine this year.

At this year’s Regionals, sophomore Nasi Wright, freshman Casey Dodge, Staley alumni Emily Taylor and Staley Unified Partner Addy Bahn smile with their medals for the Unified 4x1 Relay Raceon Apr. 27 at Lees Summit Highschool. Dodge competed in softball, track and bowling this year. When asked what she felt to win the medal, “Happy.” said Dodge.

After being released from the hospital, senior Loa Grace returns to school for the first time. After the concussion, Grace was very sensitive to light and sound, so he wasnt allowed to use his phone or laptop. Its been a learning experience that I should be more grateful for things that I take for granted, said Grace.
