My name is Leidy, and I’m a senior. It is my second year on magazine staff and my first year as Editor-In-Chief. I enjoy designing, taking pictures, and I hope to make a great publication. Outside of being on Talon staff, I am usually working, doing homework or hanging out with friends. I also like to visit new places to eat or take pictures.

During Falcon Time on Sept. 6, seniors Tina Pham and Milkise Yassin are working together on their Research and Exhibition classwork. Pham is currently in the Research Methods class getting ready for her exhibition next semester, and Yassin is preparing for her exhibition that will be presented at the end of the semester. “It’s a lot of work, but I know it will be beneficial for future presentations and college classes,” said Pham.

On February 27, Giuliana Garziano is writing down a note in Italian. Being able to get the opportunity of coming to a different country was a major goal of Garziano. “My grandpa was born in New York, so I always dreamed of coming to the United States,” said Garziano.

On Sep. 28 during Falcon Time, senior Ramla Mohamed fills a garden bed with dirt. The ELL leadership class took initiative to make community a garden for Staley for their semiannual project. "I love that I'm doing something with my hands, and it's going to benefit not just Staley, but the environment," senior Ramla Mohamed said.
