A new head volleyball coach was hired for the 23-24 school year, and the players got a chance to meet her. Coach Victoria Spencer met with the players in the Special Events Center Feb. 2.

“I am super pumped to be a part of Staley High School and be here and to start running our own program and to be a part of what the Falcons are all about,” Spencer said. “I’m pumped to be a head coach. I’m pumped to be a part of what Staley athletics are about. So I’m super excited.”

Spencer planned to start off the season with good attitudes.

“I hope that we can get the girls in there and get them pumped up about volleyball and pumped up about being a part of the team,” Spencer said. “My hope is that they’re invested and invested in what we are doing and that they have a competitive attitude and a competitive spirit, and we’re going out there and winning volleyball games.”
