Relay for Life

Student council is putting on their annual Relay for Life event. It is a fundraiser for cancer research and patients undergoing treatment.

“Staley, Northtowne, Winnetonka, Oak Park and Park Hill South are all participating in the event,” said senior Courtney Ravenscraft.

Students are able to make teams and raise money.

“The goal is to have someone on your team walking the whole night to signify cancer never sleeps and neither do we,” said student council sponsor Courtney Edwards.

The money raised goes to the American Cancer Society.

“It is a great event that I love being involved in,” said junior Lance Sayre.

Relay for life is on April 26 and is from 7pm to 7am.
