Lauren Dyke, Photographer

Lauren Dyke is a senior at Staley high school, her favorite subjects are choir and yearbook. Lauren plans to graduate at 1st semester and move to Florida with her family. In Florida she will be attending cosmetology school and starting her photography business. She has a passion for singing and taking photos so she takes choir and yearbook seriously. Her interest in choir started at a young age due to constantly annoying her older brother by singing in the car. With photography, her interest in that started her sophomore year when she had the intro class to photography and writing at Staley. One of Lauren’s favorite hobbies are ice skating, she grew up playing hockey with her brother and her dad, she learned how to ice skate at 2 years old. She is a very athletic person and loves to face challenges head on. She also loves everything about music, singing or playing an instrument. Photography helped her open up another side to her, where she was able to explore and find her own groove in it. In the future she is hoping that she will open up her own hair salon, and teach people how to properly cut curly hair, she would also want to have her own growing business in photography as well.
