Girls Soccer Season Approaches

With a new conference and a new attitude, the girl’s soccer team is ready for their upcoming season.

“I’m really excited. We have a fun bunch of girls this year,” said junior Bailey Becvar. “We have a lot a good underclassmen that are ready to step up to the plate and play their positions.”

If the weather permits, everyday after school the girls will condition outside on the soccer field until 4 pm.
“I am very excited,” said coach Johnny Chain. “It’s 35 degrees, very chilly, but we’re still working hard outside in this weather during the off season.”

Tryouts for the girls soccer team will be the week of Feb. 25 right after school outside on the soccer field.

“It’s going to be absolutely great,” said sophomore Harrison Hayworth. “Because we have a new conference this season, we have a lot more opportunities to prove ourselves that we can be the best we can be.”
