The first top five Courtwarming King candidate is a lover of “Lyin’ Eyes” by the Eagles, is involved in Cross Country, Track, Orchestra, National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His advice to his freshman self: “Don’t get lazy.” He plans after high school? He’s heading to the University of Oklahoma.
George Baker
George Baker was announced during fourth lunch.
The second top five Courtwarming King candidate’s go-to song is “L-o-v-e,” and he’s actively participating in Choir, Theater, and Tennis. His advice to his freshman self: “Just keep stumbling around; you’ll figure it out.” His memorable moment? Achieving a one on his state solo at Mizzou.
Tavian Tate
Tavian Tate was announced during fifth lunch.
The third candidate’s high school anthem is “Let Go,” by Aaron Mayis. He plays basketball, and his best high school achievement was winning a state championship. His advice to his freshmen self was, “Take high school seriously.”
Ken’Veon Stone
Ken’Veon Stone was announced during fifth lunch.
Our next candidate’s high school anthem is “Just Wanna Rock” by Lil Uzi Vert. Football, Basketball, Student Council and Leadership are his passions. His advice to his freshmen self was, “Be humble, and be patient.” His ultimate achievement? Winning a state championship.
Ralph Yarl
Our final candidate Ralph Yarl was announced during fifth lunch.
His nostalgic tune is “Life Is a Highway.” He’s a multitasker with involvement in NCAPS, SAGE, TSA, NYO, 4H, Science Olympiad, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Pep Band. His advice to his freshman self is, “There’s more to you than you may know.” After high school, he plans to major in Materials Engineering.
