Spirit Halloween
One of the most popular places to shop is Spirit Halloween. Spirit Halloween was founded in 1983 by Joseph Marver. The pop out decorations are inspired by a contest he had entered. The store is seasonal, and it opens up in August and closes in November. There are a few locations located nearby, including one on Barry Road. They offer a wide variety of costumes, accessories, make-up and decorations for Halloween. Walking through the store, they have decorations set up and able to show their abilities. I would recommend going here because there is so much to choose from, and I always find what I need. Just don’t wait until the last minute to go because everything will be out of stock.
Fun Farm
Many people go to pumpkin patches, including Fun Farm, located in Kearney, Missouri. It is open for spring, fall and summer, but the most common time to go is during the fall. There are a variety of things to do there. You can go through the corn mazes, slide down the giant slide, pick pumpkins, play in the corn pit and pick apples. There’s also a playground for kids, food to eat and farm animals to see. I go there every year with my family, and we always have so much fun. I would recommend going here because there is always something for everyone to do.
The Edge Of Hell, The Beast
For people who enjoy going to haunted houses, I recommend going downtown to either The Beast, The Edge Of Hell or both. The Edge of Hell was first discovered in 1975, making it one of the oldest haunted houses in the United States. It’s a five-story building that goes through five different phases. The people operating this haunted house are Full Moon productions, a family-owned business. The Beast is also a good option. It is owned by the same family as the Edge of Hell. You can also buy a bundle ticket, which includes going through both of the haunted houses. The Beast is roughly 45 minutes long, and The Edge Of Hell is about 30 minutes long. This would be a good place for anyone wanting to get scared.
