Engineering Students Create Robots

This video shows of one of Staley engineering’s first robots made. It was designed and programmed by Lucas Wyland and Charlie Becker of Project Lead The Way for a unit called Control Systems. They learned about robots and how society uses robots to make parts and equipment for mass production. And they learned of programming, how the parts work and interact with each other. After they finish the lessons, they are given a problem to solve. They then build a device using those parts to solve the problem. In this case the problem was building a device to pick up a ball.
