The Staley cheerleaders were surprised to see the hand drawn signs on their lockers on Dec. 12. The signs said a variety of different things wishing them luck on their competition on Dec. 16.
“Teams like cheer support so many teams, and don’t get a lot of support in return so we decided to wish them luck on their upcoming competition,” said Coach Tyler Stricklin.
The junior varsity and varsity teams’ hand made signs for all of the varsity cheerleaders.
Austin Lowe who came up with the idea had this to say about the reason they made them “Since I’m such a great artist I decided I wanted to show off my artistic abilities, and the rest of the team was on board.”
