Republic Records released “Frame By Frame,” Cassadee Pope’s new CD, on Oct. 23.

Cassadee Pope was originally the lead singer of Hey Monday; she was also the first female to win “The Voice” in season 3, with Blake Shelton as her coach. “Frame By Frame” is her first solo album and I think she did very well on it. My favorite songs from her album would have to be “Wasting All These Tears,”  “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart” and “11.” I like all of the songs on the album though.

I didn’t expect the album to be as well done as it was, especially since Pope went from pop/rock to country, but overall the album is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a change in music.

I would give this album four out of five talons, the only thing I don’t like about the album is that a lot of the songs sound alike.
