On Sept. 16, a gunman opened fire in the Washington Navy yard, killing 12 people.

Our hearts go out to the families of the victims. I’m so blessed to be an American because our soldiers fight for our country. I’m praying for their families that they can forgive the man even though he put a hole in their family’s hearts.

I pray that if he isn’t a Christian that he finds God somehow and ask for forgiveness.

I pray that the families can find God also and can find peace in him even if they don’t believe. I pray that they start believing whether they’re Muslim, Caucasian, African-American or Asian.
