Commencement for the Class of 2024 will be held May 16 at Hy-Vee Arena.
Here are some of the accomplishments of the Class of 2024. This year, Staley High School will be graduating 457 seniors, each of whom has achieved milestones:
– 22 students will earn the AP Capstone Diploma and Gold Medallion Honors Diploma.
– 6 students will earn the AP Capstone Diploma.
– 30 students will earn the Gold Medallion Honors Diploma.
– 36 students earned the Seal of Biliteracy.
– 162 students are A+ students.
Some of their various academic and extracurricular activities, with achievements include:
– 47 students are Missouri George Washington Carver Top 10%.
– 20 students are Bright Flight scholars, with 1 student scoring a perfect 36 on the ACT.
– 2 students are National Merit Finalists, and 4 students are National Merit Commended Scholars.
– 2 students are Missouri Scholars 100.
The graduates have also been accepted to colleges and universities across the country, including but not limited to:

Additionally:
– 39 students participated in the AVID program.
– 15 students are Northland Center for Advanced Professional Studies (NCAPS) graduates.
– 62 students attended the Early College Program at Maple Woods, with 16 earning their Associates of Arts Degree.
– 1 student earned Perfect Attendance.
– 25 students are Principal Honor Graduates, finishing their high school career with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
