Football players met new head coach Drew Hudgins during WIN Time Feb. 29.
Q: What are you most excited about coming in to Staley?
A:
“What I’m most excited about is building on the great school culture that already exists, being in a place where service, ownership, achievement, respect is already embedded in the kids’ heads. Being able to be a small part of that with the football program is exciting.”
Q: What led you to choose Staley?
A:
“I’ve admired Staley from afar for a long time. We played them when I was at Mo Valley in 2014 and 2015. Came up here and played at their stadium in ’14 and always thought really highly of the school, the community. I’m excited to be a part of that.”
Q: What are your plans for next year?
A:
“I think the biggest thing is to start building relationships with the guys, start building team culture with anyone who sees us practice, lift or play a game. I think those are my top priorities right now – focus on the process, not on results. Do the little things right every day.”
Q: What are your non-negotiables for your players?
A:
“Be on time. Do your best in everything you do. Be coachable.”
