School Hosts Veterans For Annual Assembly

At the 17th Annual Veterans Day Assembly today, U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Travis Sanford spoke to the school community and veterans about his experiences in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a team member on Marine Special Operations Teams and Army Special Forces Teams. Senior Eli Lawson said the Pledge of Allegiance. The orchestra and choir performed the National Anthem, and the orchestra played an armed forces tribute. Senior Madalinn Gaul performed Taps, and the veterans had a barbecue luncheon with their Falcon student afterward.
