Three students from the art department were chosen to have their work displayed in the Tim Murphy Art Gallery.
Seniors Liam Bransfield, Madison Hubbard and Matthew Guidry were chosen as part of the High School Visual Arts Competition in Merriam, Kansas. Hubbard had two pieces chosen.
The artists can win cash prizes if they earn a first, second or third prize in their category. The exhibit dates are Dec. 5-Dec. 28, with an awards ceremony Dec. 5.
The gallery received 640 submissions from 334 students representing 26 schools. Of those, 100 works from 81 students were accepted into the show.
