Caroline Ray Crowned Homecoming Queen

Queen Crowned By Retired Teacher

During halftime in the varsity football game against Park Hill South High School Oct. 7, senior Caroline Ray was crowned 2022 homecoming queen. Retired social studies teacher Scott Anderson returned to do the crowning because last year’s queen Sofia Cascone was unable to make it to the game. The team beat Park Hill 34-21.

What extracurricular and cocurricular activities are you involved in?

Softball, Basketball, Leadership, StuCo, National Honor Society, Falcon Mentor, The Nest

What is one thing you would tell your freshmen self?

Get involved. Your high school experience will be so much better if you get involved at school! Don’t stress, and be your true self.

What is the best thing you’ve checked off your bucket list?

Swimming with dolphins

What are your plans after graduating high school?

I will be attending Park University to play softball and major in elementary education.

Is there a person you know in real life who inspires you? Why?

My mom. She has shown me what it means to be a hardworking, strong and kind person.

Best high school memory so far?
