#1 “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons
Starting with a little guitar playing and a light melody then adding some bass, electronic rock and dubstep to bring it to life, “Radioactive”, in my opinion, is the best song on the “Night Visions” album. “Radioactive” is the perfect song to listen to whenever you need a little motivation. Whenever I go to practice, go for a run, or to the gym to get a good workout in “Radioactive” never fails to keep me going.
#2 “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton
Every morning, in the car, on my way to school, “Can’t Hold Us” comes on the radio and it never fails to wake me up to start my day. With the piano, drums and handclaps joining together to a fast tempo, I can’t help but to tap my foot along to the beat. This is the perfect song to scream out loud together with your best friend on any given day. “Can’t Hold Us” sends out a positive message to all listeners which in my opinion is another perfect song for some motivation.
#3 “The Way” by Ariana Grande featuring Mac Miller
If you’re looking for a song to sing to your lover, in my opinion, “The Way” is the perfect choice. Starting from a slow tempo then picking it up just a bit, with the drums and the piano, “The Way” is an easy song to learn the lyrics to. “The Way” never fails to get my head bobbin’, my fingers snapping or my shoulders rocking side to side.
#4 “22” by Taylor Swift
Ladies, if you’re looking for the perfect summer song to jam to with your girlfriends in the car with the windows rolled down and the wind blowing through your hair, “22” is the perfect song for those days. With the banging of the drums and the rocking guitar you can’t help but to dance and sing along. “22” tells you that you can express yourself in way you want to, whether it’s “happy, free, confused, or lonely” that it will always be “in the best way” and that “it’s miserable and magical.”
#5 “Just Give Me A Reason” by P!nk featuring Nate Ruess
Just had a break up in your relationship? In my opinion, “Just Give Me A Reason” might be the perfect song to help you two to learn to love again. If you listen deeply to the lyrics, “Just Give Me A Reason” comes from both a girls and a guy’s perspective on their love. Starting with a piano playing and a light melody then adding drums to pick the tempo up P!nk and Nate use metaphors to explain their love to one another.
