Be with friends and family, run errands and play tennis.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
My Nana because she has always been a strong, independent and assertive woman.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Finishing my last school tennis season 17-0 in singles matches.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Sometimes God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers, so if something doesn’t work out at first, that means something better is on the way.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
Meeting tons of new people and getting involved in a completely new setting.
What are your goals for after graduation?
Head to Mizzou, major in data science and work in statistics. M-I-Z!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The two-story Lululemon in Minneapolis.
What is your favorite Staley tradition?
The fight song playing as school gets out on Fridays because it reminds me that it’s McDonald’s Free Fry Friday.
What’s something you checked off your bucket list?
Seeing some of my favorite songs in concert at Zach Bryan (twice), Morgan Wallen and The Chicks.
What’s on your summer bucket list?
Maximize time with my friends, family and dog Oscar before I leave.

What is your favorite high school memory?
Honestly, every morning before school. My friends and I all sit in our cars together, and that time is when I feel closest to them. I’m grateful to spend that time with them because we don’t all have classes together, and it just sets my day up on a positive note.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
If I’m not hanging out with my friends I like to find small hobbies like knitting or gardening to do by myself.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
My dad. He’s the hardest worker I know. Growing up I watched him work multiple jobs and still be present in my life. He supports me in anything decision I make, and I feel lucky to have parents I have.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Getting my associates degree at semester
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Be more forgiving, I lost a lot of time with some of my favorite people, and I wish I could go back and save that. My friends are the greatest thing that’s happened to me in high school, so thank you freshman Laney!
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
I’m looking forward to this summer after graduation to spend with my friends and family.
What are your goals for after graduation?
My goals are to go to UMKC and study Economics for my pre-law undergrad.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I want to go to Cyprus.
What is your favorite Staley tradition?
The assemblies are always so fun for me. I am probably the biggest fan of the dance and step team they’re so talented.
What’s something you checked off your bucket list?
Going to Europe. I went to Austria to visit my family.
What’s on your summer bucket list?
I want to go skydiving.

What’s something that would surprise people about you?
I’m a black belt in taekwondo.
What will you miss most about high school?
The routine of high school and getting to wake up every day to see my friends.
What’s your biggest flex?
I met Isiah Pacheco.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am involved in National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Student Council Class Representatives, and Varsity Football.
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory would have to be my first football varsity reps. Getting to play under the lights with my friends for the first time is something that I will always remember.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
My favorite things to do in my free time would be playing my guitars, collecting records, going to the gym, and listening to music.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
I would have to say that the adults that have had the biggest impact on me would be my parents. They have always supported and encouraged me throughout anything that I have decided to do. From school to athletics, they have shaped me into the person that I am today and I would be completely different without them.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
I would say my biggest accomplishment would be getting accepted into college. I was accepted into the 5 year masters of architecture program at KU which only takes about 100-150 students a year which is a huge accomplishment for me.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
I would tell my freshman self to not be afraid to put yourself out there and try new things. Just being yourself can help create new opportunities and friendships that you may not achieve when holding yourself back.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
I am excited to start college in the fall. While transitioning from high school to college can be challenging, I am excited for the new experience and am eager to continue my academic career.
What are your goals for after graduation?
I would say that my main goal is to work as much as I can during the summer to help me save up for college. I also want to find a job close to college so I can continue to work while attending school. I ultimately want to graduate with my masters in architecture.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would like to go to Greece or Italy. I have always wanted to travel out of the country and from what I have seen Greece and Italy are two amazing places to travel to.
What is your favorite Staley tradition?
My favorite Staley tradition is the homecoming parade and pep rally. I have really enjoyed being in the parade with the football team and gathering support for the team before the game.
What’s something you checked off your bucket list?
I would say that seeing Metallica in concert was one of the things that I have checked off of my bucket list. They are one of my favorite bands and I am really glad that I got the chance to see them during their 72 seasons tour.
What’s on your summer bucket list?
I don’t have too many things on my bucket list for summer. If I had to put something on the list it would be hang out with friends and relax. This will be the first summer in 4 years that I won’t have summer workouts for football and I’m not going to know what to do with myself.

What are three words people would use to describe you?
I think that three words people would use to describe me would be funny, reliable, and trustworthy.
What’s something that would surprise people about you?
Something about me that would surprise people would be that I moved to Kansas City in 8th grade and was fully virtual until freshman year.
What will you miss most about high school?
I will miss hanging out with my friends everyday and getting to see my favorite teachers. I will also miss playing football and being in the student section during basketball games.
What’s your biggest flex?
My biggest flex would be that I have had all A’s and one B (thanks Mr. Taylor) throughout my entire academic career.

My favorite memories are the bus rides to and from swim meets.

My mom has had the biggest impact on me because she is always there to push me and supports me no matter what.

Getting accepted into West Point Military Academy

All the kids I’ve grown up with since kindergarten

I was the team’s second leading scorer in my men’s rec league team.

What is your favorite high school memory?
Winning conference with my best friends. It was bittersweet being my senior year and being with all of my best friends.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
Spend time with friends, walking my dogs and swimming.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
Profe! She has taught me to be strong and that everything happens for a reason.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Passing all four parts of the Seal of Biliteracy the first time.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid of anything. Everything will always work out.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
My senior trip to Spain.
What are your goals for after graduation?
Spend as much time with my family and friends before we all leave for college.

My mom. She the greatest teacher; as she taught me how to learn. She is the strongest person I know and has never stopped supporting me through everything.

Winning the first MSHSAA District Championship for Boys Volleyball in 2024.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
What happens now changes your future for the next three years and possibly life; don’t be so alone.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
The freedom of sleeping in.

Participate in everything because it’s always a chance of meeting new people and making new friends.

My goals after graduation are to go to college and eventually become an exotic veterinarian.

What is your favorite high school memory?
Enjoying classes with friends through the years. It always made school more fun.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
Gymnastics, hang out with friends doing activities like cards, pickleball and Frisbee golf.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
My dad has. He has been a huge supporter of mine through things like school and gymnastics. He is always having fun with me and just making most things a lot more enjoyable.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Placing as the 21st best gymnast in the country. As well as placing 6th on the pommel horse in the United States.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Things will change all the time, but that doesn’t always mean bad things. Enjoy the time you have, and just go along with whatever life brings you.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
Exploring and enjoying the new opportunities I will have in college. I’m most likely going pretty far from home, so this will allow me to explore a completely new city.
What are your goals for after graduation?
Go to college and follow the pre med route. I always want to find good friends and enjoy the time I get in a new place.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d love to go to some large mountain ranges to camp, like the Himalayas or Patagonia. In the other end of the spectrum, I’d love to visit places around the ocean like Italy or Greece.
What is your favorite Staley tradition?
The assemblies are lots of fun — especially Coach Neff yelling, “Here we gooooo!”
What’s something you checked off your bucket list?
Feeling accomplished in the sport I love.
What’s on your summer bucket list?
Just enjoy the time I have with my friends and spend as many days as I can doing things other than sitting at my house.

What’s something that would surprise people about you?
How I am absolutely insane at the “Gym High Bar” mobile game.
What will you miss most about high school?
How easy it was to talk to people and meet with them. In college, our old friends will not be hard to contact but will be hard to meet up with most likely. In high school, we see each other every day in school, and we all live around each other as well.
What’s your biggest flex?
I’m very competitive at gymnastics at the national level.

Choir, Track & Field, Youth Leadership for Suburban Balance and a Student leader at Church
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory would be going to South Carolina my sophomore year with the Staley choir for our Civil Rights Tour.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
My favorite things to do in my free time would be hanging out with friends, going to church and spending time with myself.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
I would say my mom for sure. She’s always been my biggest fan; she’s done everything for me. My mom pushes me past my limit because she knows I can obtain the goals that I have for myself. She teaches me how to be loving toward myself and others, so I couldn’t ask for a better person who laid an impact on my life.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
I would say my biggest accomplishment would be that I am a 5x national Champion in Track & Field. Also getting a full ride Scholarship to run track on the collegiate level.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
I would tell my freshman self to be confident in what you do. Don’t let anyone’s opinion defy who you are as a person. You are authentic and true just as God made you.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
What are your goals for after graduation?
My goals are to win a state title in the 110 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Maldives for sure

My favorite Staley tradition would be Emerald City.

My mom. She truly is one of my best friends, and she does so much for me. Whether that’s supporting me while playing sports or just being there to talk to, she is always someone that can count on.

Winning Student Visionary of the year for LLS
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Go to everything you can, whether that’s sports, musicals, really just anything going on at school.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
Going to college to meet new people and go cheer on the Jayhawks.
What are your goals for after graduation?
To hopefully work for a sports network to be a sideline reporter.

Everything will be OK. Just be yourself, find your people and do what you love.

Starting college, making new friends, getting my business degree and applying that to healthcare administration.

Go to college, keep my grades up and stay in touch with my friends.

Greece. The scenery, food and culture all look amazing.

Getting out of my bubble and talking to people. It’s not as scary as you think.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
Emeralds, FBLA, DECA, NHS, Spanish Club, Epsilon Beta, Science Olympiad and N2Sports
What is your favorite high school memory?
Getting the opportunity to go to California with my best friends for DECA internationals. We went to the beach and got to hang out with Mrs. Rule (my favorite teacher).
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
I enjoy playing pickleball with my friends, listening to music and coloring.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
The adult that has had the biggest impact on me is my ballet teacher Mrs. Heidi because she has made me the person I am today and taught me how to work hard.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Going to State all four years of high school for both FBLA and DECA — along with going to Nationals for both as well.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Join as many things as possible because high school is all about what you make it.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
I am excited for college and getting the opportunity to live on my own and meet new people.
What are your goals for after graduation?
Achieve academic success at Iowa State and make new memories. Go Cyclones!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to visit Spain because Profe has taught me so many fun things about their culture.
What is your favorite Staley tradition?
I love freshman first day and getting to scream at all the freshmen as they walk in.

Parasailing in Mexico with my dad.

Go to the pool as much as possible and climbing a 14er mountain with my dad in Colorado.

What’s something that would surprise people about you?
I love plants, especially succulents and even have a greenhouse in my basement.
What will you miss most about high school?
I will miss the friends I’ve made and dancing on the sidelines with my team.
What’s your biggest flex?
I’m oddly good at pogo sticking, especially since I’ve never practiced.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I have played soccer in the fall, and now I play volleyball. Otherwise, I’m in Spanish club, and I manage flag football.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Just coming here and meet all of these amazing people that I can now consider friends.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
I love hanging out with my friends, and I also enjoy just relaxing and doing nothing.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
My dad because he is a person I have learned a lot from in the way he always tries to push me to my fullest potential in anything I set my mind to and teaching me right from wrong. He is also the person I strive to be like.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Winning the European championship for the U16 Danish National Field Hockey Team. It’s something that I have dreamt of since I started playing, and last year I got to achieve my dream after a lot of grueling practices and a lot of hard work.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Well, I would be very straightforward and say that being yourself and being outgoing is the best things you can possibly do.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
After graduation I have to go back home and see my friends and family, and then I have to finish my own high school.
What are your goals for after graduation?
I want to strive to get on the U21 national team, and I will do my very best to get as good grades as possible so I have a lot of opportunities for when I know what university I want to go to.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Brazil because it’s a place I have always dreamed to go since of the rich culture and the amazing food.
What is your favorite Staley tradition?
The theme week before homecoming and before prom since it’s a very good way to make everyone get more excited for the big dance
What’s something you checked off your bucket list?
Well, being an exchange student since it has been on my bucket list for the longest time, and even though it has been an amazing experience, I wish I could back to the start and do it all over again.
What’s on your summer bucket list?
Spending time with my friends and family when I go back home, since I have missed them a lot, but I know the second I go back home I will miss my friends and host family here.

That I have spoken English fluently since 4th grade.

Well, my friends and all of the people I have met, but it’s hard to pick one things since I will miss everything.

That I have visited 48 of the 50 states. I did this when I was 8, and my parents took 6 months to just visit the states.

Going to New York for Orchestra and seeing “Wicked” on Broadway.

Painting and watching movies with friends on the weekend.

My mother, she has came to every single one of my concerts, art shows and track meets.

Winning the Missouri Senate Art Completion two years in a row.

My favorite memory is performing “Thor’s Hammer” at the UCM Marching Contest.

I like to play video games, work out, spend time practicing my instrument and hang out with friends whenever I’m free.
What adult has had the biggest impact on you and why?
My Dad. He’s always there for me on my good and bad days, and I don’t know what I’d do without him.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
I was awarded the “Male Athlete Of The Year” in the 2022-2023 school year for excellence and growth in gymnastics, among becoming a nationally awarded athlete.
If you could tell your freshman self one thing, what would it be?
Get your work done, no exceptions. It’ll only get easier as you go along, and trust in God. He knows much better than you do.
What’s something you’re most excited for after graduating?
I’m most excited to have sme time to relax before I leave for Missouri State University.
What are your goals for after graduation?
I would like to get better at my instrument (I’ll Need It), as well as continue working toward better physical and mental health.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d choose to go to Alaska and see the beautiful mountain ranges.

My favorite Staley tradition is the Staley Strong chant after every halftime show.

I’ll miss all the people I’ve met. I know that lots of them will go away to different colleges, and this could be the last time I see them.

I can bench one and a half my body weight and squat over double.
