Dallas Beaulieu, , and

An alternative to buying high-priced Halloween costumes this year could be doing it yourself. While you can plan on making an extravagant design, not knowing what you’re doing until the day before Halloween can be stressful.

If you find yourself trying to throw a costume together the night before, but are struggling to come up with some ideas, here are some examples of the most common DIY Halloween costumes.

Thing One and Thing Two

Obviously you will need two people for this costume to work, including a red shirt, black leggings, and a blue bandana.

Cat

To make a cat costume, it’s better to keep it simple by wearing a plain black bodycon dress, cat ears and a tail.

Audrey Hepburn

To capture Audrey Hepburn’s true elegance is to wear a black dress, pearl necklace, sunglasses and white gloves.

Superhero

To complete a superhero costume you will only need a black t-shirt that you can iron the super hero logo on to, or get a t-shirt with the super hero logo on it. You will also need either a pencil skirt, or leggings with the color of your super hero. To top it off, add a cape.
