Kayla Pospisil, Staff

Kayla is a senior this year, and it is her first year of being in journalism and on the Talon Magazine staff. She is a writer and photographer for the magazine. So far, her favorite thing about being on the Talon Magazine staff is getting to see how creative everybody is and getting to work alongside such talented people to make a magazine. This year, she hopes to write all different kinds of stories and get to know all of the different programs that go on here at school.

FCCLA participants at their first competition of the year got to take part in various competing activities, from interior design to fashion construction. All grades, from freshmen to seniors were able to participate. “It was a good turnout for everyone, especially the freshmen, because it was their first time doing it,” says senior competitor, Lonyae Coulter. Sophomore Madison Schmude and Remi Asta, sophomore, partner up before practice to start warming up on November 8th. They start by hand wrestling and working other wrestling moves on the mat. The season started on October 29th. “What happens in the wrestling stays in the wrestling room,” says Schmude.
