Students Prepare For College

With the semester coming to an end in a few short weeks many students are planning early for which colleges they want to go to after graduation.

“I am going on college tech school visits soon,” said senior Sam Smith, “I want to go to the Aviation Institute of Maintenance here in Kansas City”

With students using the A+ program many kids will be going to Maple Woods Community College for their first two years free.

“I am working on getting my A+ hours right now,” said senior Michael Corcoran. He plans to go to Maple Woods for his first two years.

Even some juniors are getting ready for which college to go to.

“I have been meeting faculty of colleges I would like to go to, and taking many standardized tests like the ACT,” said junior Luke Lockhart.

It is never too early to plan for college, even if you are just starting high school.
