While waiting for their cue to perform, sophomore Madalinn Gaul and the brass section get readyplay on the field. The band performed their halftime show at the annual band/color guard exhibition on Sept. 19 at Oak Park. “We did really well,” Gaul said, “our show was really clean and we felt really confident after it was done.”

Measuring a part with robotics coach Aaron Dalton, sophomore Luke Freyermuth observes the measurements. Freyermuth said that while creating a robot is a positive experience overall, it does require a time commitment. “It’s rewarding to complete a robot,” Freyermuth said. “It’s also a lot of work. You have to design it, build it, overcome any design challenges you might encounter.”
